The panel will shed light on the history and impact of Vrouwen van Suriname. Special attention will be paid to the social activism and solidarity context of the 70s. There will also be a discussion of issues that arose during the recent restoration. The panel will consist of senior curator Rommy Albers and curator Simona Monizza (Eye), Luna Hupperetz (freelance researcher) and Henk Lalji (co-director of Vrouwen van Suriname and ex-chairperson of the former LOSON).
